Project Summery
In 2014, Saudi Aramco began constructing the Jazan Refinery Plant and Terminal in Baish. The facilities form the industrial heart of the government’s greater Jazan Economic City project (JEC). During the development and construction of this STP, a wastewater treatment innovated concept was required. The centralized wastewater treatment plant at JEC is designed to receive domestic wastewater through tanker trucks from Saudi Aramco contractors’ camps.
- Consists of 1,250 M3/day Containerized MBR as building blocks for the final size required at any site.
- Redesign the CSTR to PFR to use GRP Tanks to expedite the construction
- Allows easy assembly & disassembly for mobility from one site to another.
- It takes three weeks to build one block (1 unit) ready for operation.
